            <text>Michael Anthony Heck of Pomeroy, Ohio, born August 2, 1953, passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 71. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by his family and friends.&#13;
&#13;
Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susy Heck; sons Eric (Jen) Heck, Jeremy (Trina) Heck, and Josh Heck; daughter Jennifer (Mike) Williams; grandchildren Bryce (Via) Heck and great-grandchildren Aria Heck. His brothers, Jeff (Wanda) Shank, Bryan (Jean) Shank, Chris (Carol) Shank, and Stacey (Kim) Shank, along with several nieces and nephews, will deeply miss him. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Ruth Ramsey, brother-in-law Dan Card, and sister-in-law Liz (Ron) Miller.&#13;
&#13;
Michael proudly served in the United States Navy and enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. His professional career included 16 years at the Meigs #2 Mine and over 20 years in the lawn care industry. He was a devoted dog lover and will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.&#13;
&#13;
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Scott and Ethel (Nash) Shank; brother-in-law Paul Card; and sister-in-law Becky Hatfield.&#13;
&#13;
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at 1:00 PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.  </text>
