            <text>William James Obituary&#13;
William C. James 73, of New Haven West Virginia, passed away surrounded by family. He is lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his dedication, hard work, and deep love for his family and community.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his daughter, Christi (Brian) Brown, and his son, Michael (Kirsten) James. He was also a proud step-father to Stacy (Stephen) Duncan, Tracy Heinze, and Richard Hysell.&#13;
&#13;
His grandchildren were the joy of his life: Ashlyn, Elizabeth, Mathias, and Caynaan. He also leaves behind his sister, Jennie (Nate) Kahn, his niece April (Jonathan) Eddy, his nephew Mathew (Olivia) Kahn, and his great-nephew, Rowan.&#13;
&#13;
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Dorothy, and by his beloved wife, Cheryl.&#13;
&#13;
A man of service and commitment, he dedicated over 50 years to the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department and was a charter member of the New Haven EMS. He attended Northbend Church and worked over the years as a welder, coal miner, and the owner and operator of James Alarm Service. Above all, he had an unwavering passion for his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.&#13;
&#13;
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he faithfully served.&#13;
&#13;
Visitation will be held  at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio on November 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM, and 12:30 PM , funeral service will follow&#13;
&#13;
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the New Haven fire department.</text>
