            <text>Elizabeth “Libby” Nickels, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. She was born on October 29, 1951, the daughter of the late Ray Jacobs Sr. and Mary Cook.&#13;
&#13;
Libby was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who loved her family immensely. She shared 39 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Donald Nickels Sr. Throughout her life, Libby was known for her fiercely loyal nature and caring heart.&#13;
&#13;
For many years, Libby worked as a nurse, dedicating her life to caring for others. In her free time, she enjoyed photography, making home videos, reading, attending church, sewing, and quilting. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her husband, Donald Nickels Sr., Libby is survived by her children, Donald Nickels Jr., Sherri and Tony Hendrix, Jason Blair, Joshua and Misti Blair, Tony Nickels, Mike and Jodi Nickels, and Steven Nickels.&#13;
&#13;
She is also survived by her grandchildren,  Zach and Megan Hendrix, Tyler and Katelyn Hendrix, Kirk and Ally Pullins, Morgan Grinstead, Christian and Cady Blair, Caitlin Blair, Connor Blair, Danny Blair, TJ Blair, Cody Nickels, Sarah Lozier, Kinzlie Nickels, Rylee Nickels, Savanna Nickels, Mason Nickels, Gage Nickels, Dominic Nickels, Isaac Nickels, and Sebastian Nickels; and great-grandchildren, Gatlin, Dawson, Aubrey, Addison, Westin, Lynnin, Cooper, Callan, Jaxson, and Parker.&#13;
&#13;
She is also survived by her siblings, Ray Jr. and Sheila Jacobs, Steve and Carla Jacobs, and Gary and Donna Northup; along with several nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cheshire.</text>
