            <text>Thomas David Evans, 77, of Middleport, Ohio, passed away on May 7, 2026. He was born September 18, 1948, in Middleport, Ohio, a son of the late Glenn and Kathryn Evans. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Bradford Church of Christ, Pomeroy and was a volunteer for the Ohio Valley Christian Assembly. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids, motorcycles, racing cars, and model railroading. He also volunteered for the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife, Penny Evans; brother, Danny (Cindy)  Evans of Huntington, W.V.; sons, Todd Evans of Pomeroy, Ohio, Christopher (Kelly) Evans of Lexington, Ky., and Patrick Evans of Middleport, Ohio; daughter, Kathryn Evans (Charles Uhlig) of Middleport; stepsons, Jason Harris of California and Kevin Harris of Middleport; grandchildren, Tori (Jaylin) Nolan, Billy Duvall, Kaiden Evans, Lexi Harris, Mason Evans, Jaden Wolfe, Harley Uhlig; and great-grandchildren, Knox and Kash Nolan, Elli and Emi Wolfe.&#13;
&#13;
Graveside services will be Monday May 11, 2026 at 1:00PM at Meigs Memorial Gardens in Pomeroy Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.</text>
