You could not have a conversation with Dottie Jo without smiling and laughing. She was quick to show you not to sweat the small stuff. She loved telling stories about her younger years and growing up on Railroad Street. She loved her children and grandchildren with everything she had . She loved watching the great grandbabies play. She worked at Crow’s Steakhouse in Pomeroy, Ohio for several years. She was also a Cashier at Walmart in Mason for 10 years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by: Parents Thomas Richard and Dorothy Mae Roush; Siblings Judy Laudermilt, Thomas Roush, Arbin Richard Roush, David Lee Roush, and sister-in-law Rhonda Lynn (Hawley) Roush; Niece Cathy Justice; Granddaughter Ariann Jo-Lynn Sizemore She is survived by her children Johnnie Sizemore, Wendy (Shawn Neighborgall) Sizemore; Siblings Roger and Connie Manley, Fred and Sharon Older, Johnny and Betty Roush, Jeanie Roush Burson and Sister in-law Connie Roush, Charles “brother Bud” and Lola Whittington; Grandchildren Joseph (Ashley Billingsley) Sizemore, Porter Lee Fetty, Connor McCourt, Christopher (Carlee) McCourt Keira Laraine McCourt; Great Grandchildren Jayce and Lillian Sizemore, Kinslee and Carson McCourt , and Jesse Cattel; Several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews; Special friends Rebecca and Rusty (Stud muffin) Marshall, Brenda Weaver, and Kathy Haley; Special nieces and Nephews Wayne and Donna Waugh, Allen and Tricia(Roush) Waugh, and George Justice. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Services will be on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport with Pastor Charles McKenzie officiating. Visitation for family and friends two hours prior to the service (11-1:00pm).
