Meigs will be looking for its first
outright TVC championship since
1986. Meigs has won·five conference

Ethiopia has been a benefactor. In 1997, 8.5 million children under

include surgeries for people with deformities, the digging of deep
wells for safe drinking water, and many others.

a harmless insect pest that invades our homes.

scores achieved by the bandsmen. but
their altitude and the response from
the crowd.
Every Saturday since Sept. 12, the
band has been "on the road." It concluded last weekend with state competition at Cooper Stadium with the
band returning home with an "excellent" from the judging panel.

87 band members whom he said were
v~ry d~dicated and consistent in their
performances and atlerJdance.
"Almost every time everybody was
