. HOUSING REHABILITATION IN VILLAGE OF RACINE

The Meigs County Community Housing Improvement Program
will be providing applications for housing rehabilitation at the
Racine Firehouse beginning Monday, .Oct. 31 , 1994 and every
Monday thereafter until Dec..31, 1994. The Case Processor will
be available at this location between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. Residents who need information may call 949·2296 on
Mondays and 992-6782 on Wednesday of each week. The Meigs County CHIP provides low income owner occupied
and low income renter occupied homes with rehabilitation repairs
that will provide sale, decent, and sanitary living conditions to
those households. Rehabilitation activities are ~mpieted thr ugh
grants to homeowners and through a 50% grant to rental ,property
owners.
