Mary Lou Fitchpatrick, of Gallipolis, passed away, unexpectedly, at 7:35 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the Emergency Department at Holzer Medical Center. Born April 8, 1957 in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy Cox Halley. Mary was a homemaker and she loved working in her flower garden and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four children, Carl (Deanna Doss) Nichols, of Gallipolis, Jennifer (Oran Green) Carr, of Gallipolis, Michell (Gary) Snouffer, of Mason, W.v., and Gloria (Delvin) Stewart, of Chillicothe, fourteen grandchildren, Josh Flint, Brooklynn Snouffer, Garrett Snouffer, Rylee Snouffer, Logan Nichols, Aiden Nichols, Connor Nichols, Gregory Carr, Keaton Carr, Colton Carr, Caitylnn Carr, Percival Carr, Olivia Valentine, Jewlianah Valentine. Six sisters, Karen Siders, of Gallipolis, Arlene Leach, of Gallipolis, Ruth Halley, of Gallipolis, Patricia (Ivan) Beaver, of Gallipolis, Rosalie (Pete) Beaver, of Gallipolis, and Christine Montgomery, of Crown City, brothers, James Halley, of Gallipolis, and Paul (Jean Hunter) Halley, of Huntington, W.V., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dwayne Fitchpatrick whom she married on December 20, 1993 in Gallipolis and preceded her in death on March 30, 2017, sisters, Norma Jean Shaver, and Lula Mae Greene, brothers, Everett Halley and Franklin Halley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12. 2018 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home with Pastor Rocky Jeffers officiating. Interment will follow in the Mina Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
