Hulda Hall Hendrick, 96, of Gallipolis, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at her residence. Hulda was born on July 21, 1926 in Mingo County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ballard and Sinda Hall.

Hulda was a member of Gallipolis Church of Christ in Christian Union. She loved going to church and reading her Bible; she valued her church family. Hulda was an LPN, working and retiring from Grant Hospital in Columbus. Hulda enjoyed traveling with her "Girls"; she always felt blessed to have had the opportunity to see these United States and many parts of the world, including the Holy Land. She was a competitor at heart, loving to bowl until she was 88 years old. Hulda enjoyed the friendships she made at the Senior Citizens Center playing scrabble and Hand and Foot. Being included in the Mabellene Drive Dinner Group was special to her.

Hulda is survived by three daughters, Charlotte (Jim) Rhodes of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Judy Nobile of Gallipolis, and Diana (Bob) McCarley of Vinton, Ohio; one son, Clinton Gillman (Belinda Trimble) of Vinton; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; sixteen great great grandchildren; and one brother, Benny (Kathleen) Hall of Ashville, Ohio. Hulda was preceded in death by three husbands, Estil Gillman the father of her children, Morris Brown of Brown's General Store in Eno, and Harry Hendrick; two sons, Estil Ray Gillman and Paul Edward Gillman; a daughter-in-law, Julie Hash Gillman; one grandson, Kevin Gillman; and a great granddaughter, Savannah McCarley. Seven brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Hulda will be missed by her family and dear friends. When you think of her, read her favorite scripture Psalm 27 and smile because you had the opportunity to know her.

The funeral service for Hulda will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Polley of the Gallipolis Church of Christ in Christian Union officiating. Her burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Her grandsons will be her pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the Gallipolis Church of Christ in Christian Union, 2173 Eastern Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631 or to Holzer Hospice, 100 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631.
