Wanda A. Workman, 89, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at her home following a brief illness. She was born May 20, 1933 in Barboursville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ostie and Nellie Shepard Ferguson. Wanda was a member of White Oak Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Wanda is survived by son, Dale Workman, Bidwell, Ohio and daughter, Donna (Jeff) McKenzie, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Melissa (Mike) Conkle, David McKenzie, Tara (Andy) Hopkins, Katie McKenzie and William Workman; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Myles and Mariah Conkle; brothers, Dewey Ferguson, Eureka, Ohio, and Jennings (Freda) Ferguson, Cora Mill, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Sue Workman, Columbus, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Boyd Workman, son, Alfred Wayne Workman and brothers, Forrest, Raymond, Jack, and Wayland Ferguson.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 P.M. Wednesday January 25, 2023 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Carl Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 10:00 AM-12:00PM
