Jason T. McPherson, 44, of Thurman, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023.
Born on March 21, 1978 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Jason was the son of Mary Gard McPherson and the late William T. McPherson. Jason owned McPherson Logging and had worked as a logger for 15 years. He graduated from Buckeye Hills Career Center in Diesel Mechanics, had a CDL, and was a member of Fellowship of Faith. Jason enjoyed walking in the woods, trees, and time with his children going to volleyball and soccer games.
Jason was a loving son, father, brother, and husband. He is survived by his children, Maggie McPherson, Jenson McPherson, and Jeb McPherson all of Thurman; mother, Mary McPherson of Patriot, Ohio; brother, Bill McPherson (Teresa Madden) of Patriot; McKinsey Saunders McPherson to whom he had been married; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends, Lyndel Crisenbery, Jake Crisenbery, Joel Crisenbery, Eric Hamm, and Tom.
In addition to his father, Jason was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gabe Saunders.
A Graveside Service for Jason will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Jamie Sisson officiating. Friends may call prior to the graveside from 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an education fund for his children at Peoples Bank.
