Garrett J. Sheets, 29, of Bidwell, passed away, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Springfield, Township. Born December 20, 1992, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, he was the son of Sandra (Billy) Sytsma Loveday, who survive in Bidwell and Jeffrey Wayne (Wendy) Sheets, who also survive in Bidwell. He was a graduate of River Valley High School and also the Hobart School of Welding in Troy, Ohio. He was the Co-Owner of L&W Cleaning, of Bidwell. He enjoyed spending his free time four wheeling, going fishing, and hunting, and being outdoors. He loved his pets but especially his dog Roscoe.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his significant friend, Ashley Ray, of Pomeroy, brothers, Zachary W. Loveday, of Waco, Texas, and Zane M. Loveday, of Fairmont, WV. Paternal grandmother, Peggy Bailey, of Bidwell, maternal grandmother, Sally (Charlie) Quigley, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, step-grandparents, John and Ruth Loveday, of Bidwell, an uncle, Bill (Colleen) Sytsma, of Cary, Illinois, aunts, Susan Brubacher, of Grand Rapids, MI., and Melissa Pace, of Gallipolis also survive.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Wayne Sheets, and Bob Bailey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2022, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis with Rev. Bob Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park, Zach Loveday, Zane Loveday, Ryan Burger, Dereck Burger, Jordan Deel and Keith Lewis, will serve as active casketbearers, Ron Pitchford will serve as an honorary casketbearer. Friends may call from 5-7 at the funeral home on Sunday.
