Goldie Hundley, 78, of Crown City, Mercerville Community, passed away, at 7:50 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. Born September 7, 1942, in Logan West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Therlo Reynolds and Ora Jane Roberts Woods. She was a homemaker and housekeeper.
She is survived by her sons, Frank (Danita) Washington, of Crown City, and Tom (Jamie) Washington, of Jackson, Oh., two step-children, Mary Jane Hundley, and Gaylon Hundley. Numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a host of step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, a sister, Martha Delong, of Crown City, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband, Amos E. Hundley, whom she married on September 4, 1982 and preceded her in death on September 18, 2007, a son, Jackie Washington, step-children, Jerome Hundley, Sr., James Hundley, Sue Hodge, Roberta Muncy, brothers, Cleveland “Bud” Reynolds, Clifford Reynolds, Marvin "Bob" Reynolds, sisters, Jean Delong, Pearl Sickles, and Janice Sloan.
Private services will be held in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis. Officiating will be Pastor Jacob Watson. Interment will be in the Old Mercerville Cemetery.
