Betty June Wilson, 78, of Racine, passed away, at 4:40 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Arbors of Pomeroy. Born June 12, 1940 in Meigs County, she was the daughter of the late Ardel Braden and Mattie Randolph Maxwell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Racine United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Wilson, whom she married on October 30, 1957 in Meigs County, as well as her children, Ronald (Teresa) Wilson, Cheryl Marnhout, and Robin (Donnie) Stephenson, all of Racine. Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Dorothy (Phillip) Burelli, of Michigan, Ardella Helmick, of Parkersburg, WV., and Elizabeth (Roy) Miller, of Ripley, WV., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition, her parents, she is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Michael Nance, brothers, Ronald and Donald Braden, and a sister, Phyllis Braden.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 in the Chapel at Letart Falls Cemetery with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating and interment will follow. Friends may call an hour prior to the service at the Chapel. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.
