Carl H. "Bo" Bonecutter Jr., 76, Gallipolis, passed away at 2:05 P.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division, in Charleston, West Virginia. Born October 29, 1942 in Henderson, West Virginia he was the son of the late Carl and Frances Mae Turner Bonecutter Sr. Carl was a retired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Surviving is his wife of over 52 years, Kathryn L. Burnheimer Bonecutter, whom he married June 25, 1966 in Gallipolis. Also surviving are his three daughters, Cassandra (Newt) Mattox, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Kathleen Bonecutter, of Gallipolis and Melissa (Bryan) Hoffman, of Middleport, his grandchildren, Natasha (Jeremy) Grace, Peggy (Jesse) James, Ryan (Katie) Casey, Ashley Campbell, Andrea Phoenix, Michael Phoenix, Michael Bonecutter, Charity Bonecutter, Cheyann Bonecutter, Emilia Mattox and Sylas Mattox. Twenty-one great-grandchildren survive as does two sisters, Barbara Thompson, of Gallipolis and Lucy Carruthers, of Gallipolis, half-sisters, Emma Lou Byus, of Point Pleasant and Angie Wallace, of Gallipolis and half-brothers, Paul Byus, of Gallipolis, Charlie Byus, of Point Pleasant, Harold Byus, of Point Pleasant, Bryan Bonecutter, of Point Pleasant and Ray Byus, of Point Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Edward Bonecutter and Stevie Allen Bonecutter and two sisters, Sandy Byus and Debbie Byus. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 3, 2018, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home with George Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in the Centenary Cemetery in Green Towsnhip. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
