DeAnna Lynn Freeman, of Racine, Ohio, gained her wings to fly through the heavens on July 6, 2022, at 5:03 pm. She went peacefully surrounded by family.
DeAnna (Nanner) was born May 12, 1976, and was a loving soul. She always had a smile on her face and joy in her heart. She was a beacon of happiness and could brighten anyone’s day just by being in her presence. She loved to make people happy and to know what everyone was doing. She was a little on the nosey side and it was a blessing. She loved being around her family and friends with stories and laughter.
DeAnna lived a great life. She traveled, rode Harley with her brother, rode on the back of jet ski’s, boating, camping and loved to swim. She knew every episode of Golden Girls by heart. Her life would get interrupted with several medical procedures throughout the years but it never kept her down or took her happiness.
DeAnna was preceded in death by her beloved Stepdad, Charles P. Williams; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Roush of New Haven, WV; paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Christine Freeman of Pomeroy, Ohio; special Aunt, Eleanor Sissie (Jack) Keck of Lexington, KY; and several other aunts and uncles.
Deanna is survived by her mother, Bonnie S. Williams of Racine, OH; her father, Gary Edward Freeman (Linda) of Pomeroy, OH; two brothers, Brian (Lucinda) Freeman of Breman, OH; Gary Michael (Debbie) Freeman of Racine, OH; a special cousin Michelle (Bruce) Chapman of Point Pleasant, WV; a very, very special friend, Mati (Greg) Hanbaum of North Ridgeville, OH; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to CDLS foundation in memory of DeAnna. www.cdlsusa.org
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio.
