Alice “Yvonne” Walters, 75, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after a brief illness.
Born on January 14, 1948 in Gallia County, Ohio, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Donavan F. Clagg and Weltha Halley Clagg. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Steve) Walters; a son, William Stephen Walters II; and a grandson, Joseph “Joey” Angelo. Yvonne attended Gallia Academy and the University of Rio Grande, where she received a bachelor's degree in Business & Computer Science.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Tadd (Debbie) Walters of Logan, Ohio and Amy (Stevie) Voreh of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; grandchildren, Michael Angelo, David Mullins, Thaddeus Walters, and Alicia Walters; great grandchildren, Hensley Murray and Haidyn Mullins; sisters, Donna Likens of Henderson, West Virginia and Pam Burnett of Springfield, Ohio; sisters-in-law, April (Harold) Rice of Northup, Ohio and Brenda (Al) Ferguson of Richmond, Virginia; and very special friends, Marta Prose and Erin Prose Greenlee.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Centenary Cemetery in Centenary, Ohio with Pastor James Chapman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in the name of Alice Yvonne Walters to SOMC Hospice, 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
