Mary Marcum, 76, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Gallipolis, Ohio. Mary was born July 23, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter to the late Alvin and Elizabeth (Swisher) Walton. She was a waitress for many years at the Pirates Cove.
She is survived by her children: Hollie Dwayne (Janette) Marcum, Bidwell, Ohio; Johnny (Frankie) Marcum, Vinton, Ohio and Ann (Mike Perry) Casto, Vinton; grandchildren: H.D. Marcum, Rachel Neal, Jason, Casey and Ashlee Dillard, Brandon Marcum, Amber Folden, Colin Marcum, Joe Marcum and J.R. Marcum as well as nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brothers: Buddy Walton, Robert Walton, James Walton, David Walton and Danny Walton; infant sister, Betty Ann Walton and the father of her children, Hollie Marcum Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pendleton-Marcum Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM service time.
