Tresa Lynn Wade, 56, of Ravenswood, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV, after years of an extended illness. She was born August 31, 1966 in Wood County, a daughter of the late Glen E. Wade (JoAnn) and Shirley Rexroad (Clarence).
Tresa was a loving and caring mother, sister, and aunt. She was a selfless person that put others before her own needs. She enjoyed spending time with family, social networking and walking. She attended school in Parkersburg. Tresa committed her life to taking care of her only son. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by son, Thomas Wade; siblings, Ted Wade of Vincent, OH, Terry Wade (Sharon) of Vincent, OH, Lisa Reed of Parkersburg, Mercy Hale of Davisville, Michael Wade of Parkersburg, Susan Wade of Williamstown; nieces and nephews, Ted Wade, Joshua Wade, Justin Wade, Abigail Sharp, Sydney Sharp, Alyssa Hale, Hunter Hale, Michael Wade, and Isabella Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-mother, JoAnn Wade, sister-in-law, Nicole Wade, uncle, Charles Wade and aunt, Mercy Wade.
A special thanks to Dawn Stewart of Ravenswood for helping with Thomas and to Kanawha Hospice for the care they provided. The family is greatly appreciative.
