Lola B. Huffman (née Christian), 87, of Cheshire, Ohio passed away peacefully at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
She was born on November 9, 1935 in Kimball, West Virginia. Lola was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Darrell J. Huffman; daughter, Della Peck; parents, Isaac Christian and Sylvania (Workman) Christian; and nine brothers and sisters.
Lola is survived by children, Larry (Monique) Huffman of Dayton, Ohio, Terry (Colleen) Huffman of Lawrence, Kansas, and Debbie (Bob) Misner of Cheshire, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Greg (Keena) Peck, Erica Peck, Joy (Nick) Tiberia, Faith (Dustin) Smith, Brian Hershey, Heather (Joe) Spicuzza, Chris Misner (fiancé Sammi Mullins), Beth Misner, Darrell (Kadie) Huffman, Joshua Huffman, and Vanessa Huffman; and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Hobert Christian of Dublin, Virginia.
She was a long-time member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Lola was a very family-oriented homemaker who loved participating with her children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
The funeral service for Lola will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service Saturday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
