Brenda S. Smith, 71, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Brenda was born on November 15, 1951 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Samuel and Nora Bush Glover. She was a member of Apostolic Gospel Church and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Brenda was married to Samuel D. Smith, Sr.; and he preceded her in death in 2001. In addition to her husband and parents, Brenda was preceded in death by three sisters, Debbie in infancy, Doris Martyn, and Linda Newell and by one brother, John Glover.
Brenda is survived by her children, one daughter, Sherrie (W.D.) Brown of Arkansas and two sons, Eddie (Jennifer) Rowley and Jason (Amber) Smith of Gallipolis; eight grandchildren, Josie Smith, Jessica Smith, John Smith, Jordon Glover, Ty Phillips, Chloe Rowley, C.J. Halfhill, and Dalton Halfhill; seven great grandchildren; siblings, David Glover, Wanda Marchi, Carolyn Angel, Judy Byus, Charles Glover, Cathy Rotert, Michael Glover, and Chris Glover Wallis; several extended family member including step children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
