Robert F. Moore, born September 25, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts, son of Winthrop F. and Lousie Moore (Durgin),passed away on January 16, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather Worthy Poston, sister, Barbara Carney, daughter, Jeanette Brower, grandson Robert Stoddard and great-granddaughter Scarlett Stoddard. He is survived by his loving wife of 50+ years, Esther Moore; his daughters, Jody (Steve) Cameron, Teresa (Greg) Vollmer, and Judy (Scott) Stoddard. Grandsons, Tony Brower and Brad Thompson, Granddaughter, Tonya Swisher; her children Jordyn, Mason and Bryce. Also, two great-grandchildren; Gaige and Aiden, and two great-great-grandchildren; Julian and Rynleigh; and many family members and friends. Robert (Bob) served in the Navy and later worked for the Meigs County School district as a custodian and was known as” Janitor Bob” by all the students. He enjoyed fishing, working in his shop, living on his farm, talking on his Ham and CB radio, helping to hand out food at local foodbanks. and the Dallas Cowboys football team. To honor Robert a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
