Martha Louise Hersman Kasee, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away, at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2023 at her residence. Born May 19, 1951, in Gallipolis, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Mable Carter Hersman and John Hersman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Fleming, and a brother-in-law, Joesph Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Smith, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and a brother, Gerald “Jerry” (Elaine) Hersman, of Munson, Ohio. Two daughters, Nancy (Allen) Harris, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rosie (Scott) Bope, of Lancaster, Ohio, five grandchildren, Bret Johnson, of Cincinnati, Corey (Brittany) Putman, of Pomeroy, Ohio, Jennifer (Keith) Scott, of Ashville, Ohio, Elizabeth (Trey) Sprague, of Elizabethtown, Indiana, and Ashley (Adam) Cordle, of Lancaster, Ohio, several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friend Raymond “Ray” Stewart, of Gallipolis, also survives.
Per her wishes graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in the Bethel Cemetery. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
