Donal Craig Wray, 45, of Vinton, passed away, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, in Gallipolis. Born May 23, 1978, he was the son of the late Donald T. Wray, and Becky Wellington Skidmore, who survives in Vinton. He was a good, big-hearted man. He was an avid fisherman and love being on a bank of any kind of body of water. He was a gentle giant that loved being with his family, especially his grandsons Maverick. He was proud of his kids. We can’t even express how much he will be missed.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Bethany Wray, Skylan Wray, Lou Lou Wray, and Ciara Wray, all of Vinton, grandsons and his heart, Maverick Jones, a special young lady and man, Izzabellah and Damion Ashworth. A sister, Kassie Fuestel, brothers, Kevin Wray, Jarrod (Amy Bess) Wray, Jason (Erica) Wray, Keith (Chelsey) Skidmore, all of Gallipolis, nephews J.J. Wray, Everett, Bennet, and Rhyett Skidmore, a niece, Brooklyn Wray, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thurman and Mary Wray, Maternal grandparents, Leo C. and Clara Mae Wellington, uncles Harold and Kenny Hale, Aunts, Susie Wellington, Beatrice Hale, and Sharon Wellington, a cousin, Travis Wray, and the love of his life, Angelia Masters Ashworth.
A memorial service will be held at the Fellowship Chapel, in Vinton, Ohio on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, is entrusted with the arrangements.
