Richard Allen Northup, 69, of Gallipolis, passed away, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023 in the Abbyshire Place. Born January 25, 1954, in Gallipolis he was the son of the late Francis E. and Goldie Mae Phillips.
He is survived by his brother, Mike (Melvetta) Northup, of Gallipolis, a sister-in-law, Ann Tackett Northup, of Crown City, a niece, Sheri (Robert) Elliott, of Gallipolis, nephews, Jack Northup Jr., of Gallipolis, Jerry Northup, of Gallipolis, Jason Northup, of Crown City, and Jeff Northup, of Crown City. Numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Northup, and a nephew Michael E. Northup, Jr.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Centenary Cemetery. Pastor Jack Northup Jr., will be officiating. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
