Jim E. Weese, 74, Syracuse, passed away, on Friday, December 29, 2023, at his residence. Born January 12, 1949, in Mason, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Donald B. and Elma L. Edwards Weese. He was a retired mechanic and Parts Manager for Norris Northup Dodge. He was also an avid gun collector and lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by close long-life friends who rode four wheelers and dirt bikes together, Shade (Latausha) Caldwell, of Albany, and Shade's children, Nathaniel Caldwell, Luke Caldwell, Geraldine Caldwell, Shadrach Caldwell, and Zechariah Caldwell.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilmore Cemetery with Pastor Barry Blankenship officiating. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.
