Pauline Parker-Leonard, 88, of Racine, OH went to be with her Lord, Wednesday May 3, 2023 at OSU Medical Center ER, Columbus, OH.
Pauline was Born May 2, 1935, at Baileysville, WV to the Late Noah Ballard and Mirley Bailey Birchfield. Most of her life she worked as a home health caregiver for family members and others, a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Pomeroy, OH, she loved her family, enjoyed her family history, sewing, and taking care of others.
Surviving are three chirdren Giles Lee (Debbie) Hysell, Noah R. (Brenda) Hysell, and Paula Kay (Jim) Rogers, step children Ralph (Jenny) Parker, Lester (Pam) Parker, Carl (Arlene) Parker, Jack (Anita) Parker ,Carolyn (William) White, Nick Leonard, and Danny Leonard. Grandchildren JR Hysell, Kenny Rizer, Spike Rizer, April Hysell, Martha Steinhausen, Christian Hysell, Daniel Hysell, Serria Van Meter, Joe Dillon, Jessica Newell, JimBob Parker, Leslie Rayburn, Jackie Parker II, Jackie Parker Nelson, Brett Parker, Brad Parker, and Mike Hart, 27 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends along with her loving dog Chase.
Besides her parents Pauline was preceded in death by her siblings Walter (Lydia) Birchfield, Howard (Marie) Birchfield, Faye (Don) Cotterill, Ray (Mary) Birchfield, and Paul (Mona) Birchfield, husbands Olan Lee Hysell, Roy Parker and Nicklois Leonard, SR. and several nieces and nephews.
Services are Monday, May 8, 2023, at 1 pm at the First Southern Baptist Church, Pomeroy, OH with Rev. Robert Austin officiating. Burial to follow at Chester Cemetery, Chester, OH. Visitation is Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm at the church. Arrangement with Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, OH. Online condolences @birchfieldfuneralhome.com.
