Carl Donald White died peacefully in Jackson General Hospital on July 24, 2023, at the age of 84.
Carl is survived by his daughters, Sherry Saylor (spouse, Steve), and Christie Kleinert (spouse, Aaron); 2 siblings, Charles White of Ripley, WV, and Helen Balser of Silverton, WV; and daughter-in-law, Carla White.
Carl was born on January 20, 1939, in Fairplain, WV, to Jesse M. and Esta M. White.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beulah White; son, Donald White; and 10 siblings, James White, Elsie Patterson, Cora Miller, Goldie Bennett, Lucy Milhoan, Margie Milhoan, Russel White, Roy White, George White, and Mary Bell.
Carl served in the United States Army and was discharged with a testimonial of Honest and Faithful service in April of 1969. Carl worked in construction and was a member of the Laborers Union Local #1085 for many years before his retirement. He loved to sit outside under the shade tree and watch the birds come and go at the feeder. He was a loving grandfather and is survived by his grandchildren, Justin Saylor (Jade), Christopher Hafer (Stephanie), and Zachary Hafer; his step-grandchildren, Jaden and Landon Kleinert; and his cherished great granddaughters, Jenna and Julie Saylor.
