Bonnie S. Shelton, 89, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
Born in West Hamlin, West Virginia, Bonnie graduated from Huntington High School. She was the owner of Gallipolis Auto Auction Inc. for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Donald Shelton; son, Greg Shelton; brother, Bill Stanley of Maryland; sister, Betty Nestor of West Virginia, and parents, Edgar and Violet Stanley of West Virginia.
Left behind to cherish her memory are son, H. Donald (Sheri) Shelton, Jr.; son, Michael L. Shelton; daughter-in-law, Debbie Shelton; niece, Kim Nestor; grandchildren, H. Donald (Michelle) Shelton III, Nena C. (Joey) McKinney, Lauren (James) Northup, and Clint Shelton; great grandchildren, Maddie Shelton, Brock Shelton, and Josie and Ally McKinney; great great grandson, Holden Dean Shelton; and many nieces and nephews and their children.
The family will observe private services with burial at Mound Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Family Senior Care and Heartland Hospice for all their support and tender care in Bonnie’s time of need.
