Robin Dean Fisher, 76, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. Robin was born on July 12, 1948 at Holzer Hospital, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was the son of the late C.C. and Elva Nibert Fisher.
He attended Gallia Academy High School and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1967. Robin was employed by Buckeye Rural Electric for over twenty-eight years. He was a United States Army veteran, serving his country from 1967-1970. Robin completed one tour in Vietnam during his service.
Robin married Sharon Davis Fisher at Providence Church in Crown City, Ohio; and she survives him. He is also survived by two sons, Ryan Fisher of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Bradley Fisher of Gallipolis, Ohio. Also surviving are two siblings- a brother, Ronald Fisher of Ellijay, Georgia and a sister, Ruth Ann Branham of Patriot, Ohio- and a special friend, Brett Wilt.
In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Fisher, Ray Fisher, and Roger Fisher and an infant sister, Frances Fisher.
Robin enjoyed hunting, car shows, and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed his beloved German Shorthair dogs, especially Libby.
Robin was a member of Patriot Lodge No. 496 and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a member of the Gallia County Gun Club, Ohio Gun Collectors Association, Shrine Club, Scottish Rite, National Street Rod Association, Good Guys Rod and Custom Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars Gallipolis Post 4464, Gallia County Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter #709, and Disabled American Veterans.
The Funeral Service for Robin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery where full military rites will be given by the Gallia County Funeral Detail. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
