Thomas Eugene Anderson Jr. 64 of Hartford, WV passed away peacefully at his residence Saturday November 23 2024 after a fierce battle with cancer.

He was born January, 05 1960 in Meigs County Ohio to the late Thomas E and Nancy Ann (McMillin) Anderson. Also preceded in death were his in-laws Ottis and Rose White and great niece Alaina L Hartley.

He graduated from Wahama High School in 1978, He was a member of the Fathers House Church in Hartford WV. He was also a proud member of the American Legion Post 140 of New Haven where he was also a SAL Member, as well as a member of the Bend Area C.A.R.E, The VFW Post 9926, and Eagles Post 2171 of Pomeroy Ohio.

Tommy was employed by American Electric Power Company, Philip Sporn Plant for over 40 years.

Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He married the love of his life, Angie in May of 2000.

He loved his children with all of his heart, Jillian (Luke) Harris of Letart, Trey (Logan) Anderson of New Haven, Meghann (Dane) Diemer of Point Pleasant, Cara (Dylan) Smith of Point Pleasant also his grand children who stole his heart instantly, Wyatt Thomas Harris, Nate Jennings Harris, Benjamin Adam Diemer, Henry Thomas Smith, Iris Elaine Smith, Caspian Everett Anderson.

Tom also loved his siblings Brother Keith (Lori) Anderson of Hartford, Sister Carol( Gordon) Spencer of Hartford, Sister-in-law Patty (Wayne) Sanders Hurricane WV, Brother-in-law Brooks (Trisha) White Hurricane WV, Sister-in-law Jody (Ron) Durst of Point Pleasant WV, also one niece Talisha (Steven) Hartley of Hartford WV, Nephews Kelsyn Spencer of Hartford WV, Ryan Anderson of New Haven WV a great niece and nephew Olivia and Owen Hartley and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and loved him in return.

Services are Friday November 29 2024 at 1PM with visitation from 11-1PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow in the Graham Cemetery in New Haven.
