Randall Lee Stewart was born on August 18, 1965 in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He passed away on December 16, 2024 at his home in Belmont, Ohio.
Randy was the son of Roger Stewart and the late Linda Brown. After the early passing of his mother, he was also lovingly raised by Linda Adkins.
He is survived by his father, Roger (Elaine) Stewart; adoptive mother, Linda Adkins; siblings, Linda (Todd) Hendrix, Shannon (Doug) Fraley, Rusty (Sharise) Stewart, Renée Stewart, and Daniel (Becky) Thornton; nieces and nephews, Emilee, Allison, Dawn, Nicole, James, Marshall, Landon, Zach, Ross, Aspen, and Kensley; great nieces, Leia, and Stevie, a large extended family including a dear aunt, Jenny Lou Davis, and several special cousins.
In addition to his mother, Linda Lou Brown, he was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Thornton, several beloved aunts and uncles, his grandmother Violet Brown, and his grandparents, Ross and Tib Stewart who cherished and cared for him. Randy was a graduate of Meigs High School class of 1984. Classmates remember him as an avid boxer in the Meigs Boxing Club and a car enthusiast. His family will most fondly remember his generosity, laugh, huge heart and compassion for dogs-especially his loyal companion Barnes.
Services will be held at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio on December 23rd. Friends and family are invited to call at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 12:00. He will be laid to rest at Meigs Memory Gardens near his mothe
