Anita Kay Church, 60, of Patriot, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room.
Born on January 6, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio, Kay was the daughter of the late Ronald E. and Donna Mae Gothard Casey. On September 27, 1996, Kay married Marvin Dennis Church, who survives her in Patriot. Kay was a Kyger Creek High School graduate and former home health aide. She enjoyed crafting.
Kay is survived by her husband, Marvin Dennis Church of Patriot; sons, Dennis "Bub" Church and Zacariah Church; daughter, Holly Church; grandchildren, Jacob Mullins and Kaylen Mullins; sisters, Ellen Marie “Bibber” Baird of Gallipolis, Lynn (Roger) Houck of Springfield, Ohio, and Susan Christine Mullins of Gallipolis; aunts, Betty Jo (Jesse) Taylor of Crown City, Ohio and Mary Ann North of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Casey and Jeff Casey in infancy.
The funeral service for Kay will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Friends and family may call prior to the service Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
