Michael Dwayne Salser, Sr. passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Edgewood Manor of Lucasville. He was born on December 30, 1960 in Mason, WV to the late Raymond and Verna (White) Salser. Mr. Salser served our country in the United States Air Force. He then worked and retired after 28 ½ years as a mate on river boats, from AEP River Division.
He is survived by his children, Michael Dwayne Salser Jr. of Ravenswood, WV, Matthew David Salser of Middleport, OH and Kayla Jo Salser -Hicks; grandchildren, Dalton, Michael, Chellsie, Kyleigh, Hayden, Matthew, Peyton, Karley Lincoln and Jaclyn; sister, Alice LaDonna Salser, Amhurst, OH; aunts Kitty Counts and Dorothy Harden; uncle Chuck Salser; nieces Crystal and Amy Salser and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Verna May White Salser and Raymond Boyce Salser; brother, Richard Wyatt Salser; paternal grandparents Joseph Salser and Eva Salser Shields; maternal grandparents Alice Leona White and Joseph White.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
