Linda Foster, 76, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born December 6, 1948, Linda’s life was a testament to kindness, devotion, and faith.
She loved to play bingo, going to the beach, playing games but most of all she loved her family and grandchildren. Linda spent a lot of her summers helping her sister at Folmers Produce Stand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sharon (George) Folmer; brother-in-law, Robert Scarberry
Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bobby Foster; children: Bobby (Sarah) Foster Jr., Missy (Keith) Stout, Ryan (Rhonda) Foster. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren: Merissa (Jesse) Pullins, Matthew (Erin) Foster, Alishia (Brayden) Kopec, and Izaiah Foster; great grandchildren, Bentlee, Layla, Hudson, Everhett and Presley; sister, Cathy (Don Frymyer) Scarberry, brother, Richard (Roberta) Dill along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever hold her memory close.
Family and friends will remember Linda for her warm heart, her love of gatherings, and the deep care she gave to everyone she met.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Rocksprings Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home Pomeroy.
