Cheryl A. Clark “Sherrie”, 64, of Racine, Ohio, passed away on May 19, 2026, at Arbors of Pomeroy, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on April 8, 1962, in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ronnie and Bonnie (Hubbard) Ransom. Cheryl was a member of Antiquity Baptist Church in Racine. Over the years Sherrie provided a home for anyone in need and provided child care until 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Bonnie Ransom; her brother, Travis Ransom; and her dear aunt, Lillian Scarbrough.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Corbyn (Kaylee) brother Scott Ransom (Roselyn) her sister, Wendy Hill (Richard); nieces, Ashlee (Korey) Jacobs, Amber (Jamie) Davis, Austin (Sara) Hill great-nieces and nephews, Everly Davis, Mya Hill, Emerson Davis, Harlan Hill and Asher Jacobs and special friend and caregiver Pam Gheen numerous extended family members and friends.
She is also survived by her former in-laws and family, Rick, Cathy, Chad, Beth, Cameron and Kenny.
Cheryl was a celebrator of life and lived each day to the fullest.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
