Constance Ernestine Patterson, 78, of Pomeroy, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on October 10, 1946, a beloved daughter of the late David and Ruth Campbell, and sister to the late Cindy King.
Connie, as she was lovingly known, dedicated much of her life to her family and her work. For 48 years, she was a familiar face at McClure's in Middleport, where she was not only a dedicated employee but also a cherished friend to coworkers and customers alike. In her free time she enjoyed playing Yahtzee and board games with her family. Her kindness, warm smile, and gentle spirit touched the lives of so many who had the joy of knowing her.
She is survived by her two loving children, Kim (Bill) Schwabe and Rick (Pam) Patterson, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her siblings Sandra (Jerry) Edwards, David (Kim) Campbell, Debbie Campbell, Kathy Snyder and several special nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Cassie (Josh) Smith, Alex (Brandon) Fowler, Kelsey (Taylor) Rowe, Chelsea (Shane) Collins, Keely Shuler, Kenzie Shuler, Ryan (Rissa) Schwabe, Adriahna (Jeff) Agan, Jenna Schwabe, Emma Schwabe and Marisa Patterson and great-grandchildren Colin, Carter, Brynlie, Luke, Kai, Colbie, Adeline, Zayd, Karley, Kalimae, Kane, Graham and Darcy, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them.
Connie's life was a testament to quiet strength, devotion, and care. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and the way she made everyone feel like family. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A service will be held to honor her life Tuesday, September 30th at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home, Pomeroy, Ohio from 11 am to 1 pm with services immediately following.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched
