Linda Lee Gillilan, 71, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 17, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Jack Provence and Helen Flanagan.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She had a remarkable gift for gardening and could make almost anything grow with her green thumb. An animal lover at heart, she cherished the companionship of her many pets throughout the years. In her younger years, Linda worked as a professional sign painter, where her creativity and artistic talent shined.
Known for her kind heart, infectious sense of humor, and warm spirit, Linda touched the lives of everyone she met. Even in her final days, she continued to bring smiles to those around her with her wit and laughter. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, George Gillilan; her daughter, Lee Gillilan; her sister, Laurie Norman; her two stepbrothers, Erik Waters, Shawn Waters, and a half brother Jack Provence Jr.; many cherished nieces and nephews; and very special lifelong friends, Nancy Gard and Florine Ginther.
