Tommy Joe “TJ” Ferrell, 76, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026. He was born on June 25, 1950.
TJ was a proud veteran who faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated member of the Mason, West Virginia VFW and the Harrisonville Masonic Lodge #411. He will be remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and the many friendships he made throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Vicki Ferrell; his daughters, Heather Evans (J.T.) and Hollie Ferrell (Kalen); his cherished grandchildren, Kylie Metheney, Myles Laudermilt, Colson Evans, and Anakin Koehler; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Gloria Grate; aunt Karla Graves and niece and nephew, Tamara King and Aaron Grate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Mary Ferrell, and his brother-in-law, Jimmy George.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
TJ’s family will forever cherish the memories of his unwavering love, his devotion to his family, and his honorable service to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
