Jacklyn Jean Spaun passed away on November 30, 2023, at Ohio State University Medical Center, after a brief illness. Jacklyn was born July 12, 1949 the daughter of the late Albert R. "Jack" Seidenabel and the late EleanorJean Seidenabel.

Jacklyn is survived by her daughters Melissa (Terry) Johnson, Melinda (Michael) Cleland, sons Matthew(Carrie) Dailey and Mark (Krystin) Dailey. She is survived by her grandchildren Whittney (Tre) Wallace, Cassandra (Bradley Bonecutter) Johnson, Jeff (Lindsay) White, Ashley (Taylor) White, Joe and Adrienne White, Brandon, Kali, Deidra and Thannan Cleland, Hunter and Colte Dailey, Ryker, Rowan and Raylynn, Damion, Jacob, Cameron and Alexia Dailey. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and her significant other of many years William "Bill" Swan.

Jacklyn devoted most of her years at Holzer Hospital, in labor and delivery, where she was an LPN. After 46 years, Jacklyn retired from nursing. After retirement, Jacklyn went on to work at Roscoe Village, conducting historical tours. Jacklyn had a fond love of history, the Civil War (where for a number of years she actively participated in the reenactments) and genealogy. Jacklyn was a wealth of historical knowledge and could trace a family tree back better than anyone. Jacklyn enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer. She lived in the Amish Country for many years. Jacklyn thoroughly enjoyed her daily morning devotional. She loved to go for walks, to garden, go for long drives in the country, shop at all of the amazing thrift stores that the Amish country has to offer, fishing, event participating in antique car shows. Jacklyn also always enjoyed a good board game but only when she was the one that was winning.

Funeral Services will be Monday December 4, 2023 at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio with visitation being from 11am to 1pm, funeral directly following with Paul Dailey officiating and a graveside service to follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Pomeroy, Ohio.
