Gertrude "Dolly" Woods of Middleport passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Stonerise of Parkersburg. She was born on November 30, 1931 to the late Ross and Elizabeth "Tib" (Hubbard) Stewart. She was a member of the Rutland Freewill Baptist Church. She also worked at Tiny's and Jones Boys Grocery Stores.
She is survived by sons, Tom (Lisa) Woods, Ted (Janie) Woods, daughters, Mary (Fred) Davis, Brenda Woods, and Cheryl Michaels;Missy (Jesse) Howard and Morgan & Mitchell, Kate (Zach) Ash, Ryan (Renee) Davis and Karli, Carson, & Kensli, Amber (Chris) Kapple and J.D., Mitchell, & Macy Wright, Kenny (Kendra) Davis and Reese, Riley, & Ross, Scott Carr and Jayden Carr Wolfe, Jason Neigler, Matthew (Nichole) Neigler and Kamara, Jared Woods and Alexis, Shaun (Tonya) Imboden and Ethan, Alana, & Logan, Brandon Michaels and Addison and Lilly. 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; sister Jenny Lou Davis and brother, Roger Stewart and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 67 years Keith Woods; brothers, Ross "Bud" Stewart, Robert "Bob" Stewart, Rollie Stewart and Rudy Stewart; great grandson, Chase Roush, son-in-law, Bruce Michaels.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Ed Barney officiating. Burial will follow in the Letart Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service.
