At almost 103 years, Maxine Smith passed away on March 6, 2023, at The Willows Center in Parkersburg, WV.
She was born on March 24, 1920, to William and Margaret Milhoan Smith on their farm at Sherman, WV. She loved sharing memories from her life there with all who cared for her.
Our thanks to the staff of The Willows and Amedisys for all their love and care.
Maxine is survived by her brother, Darrell (Geraldine) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Rozelle Delong.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV, with visitation one hour before the service. Pastor Chris Skeens will be officiating.
