Bruce Edward Allen, 57, Albany, Ohio, passed away on April 29, 2023,
following a tragic farm equipment accident.
He was the son of Bernard and Loretta Allen. A graduate of Alexander
High School and Tri-County Joint Vocational School. Bruce was a life-long
farmer and truck driver for Drayer Transport Company, Beverly, Ohio.
He loved Allen Farms and his Buck Run Cattle Company. He was a member of the Orphans
Friends Masonic Lodge #275 of Wilkesville, Ohio.
Bruce leaves behind his beloved Margaret and her children John Nelson,
Rachel Nelson Jeffers (Ryan), and four grandchildren Addi, Jaxson,
Maddie and Charlie; His siblings Bonnie (Paul) Smith, Judy Allen Ellis (Dave),
Boyd Allen (Mary), Jill Harris (Matt); four nephews Jeffrey Brooks (Randi),
Justin Brooks, Chace Harris, Drew Harris; Two special nieces Wendy (Seth)
Callaway, Alyse Smith; Great nephews and nieces Tyler, Maddie, Cooper,
Ella, Jackson Brooks and Whitlee Brooks; several cousins, many friends including
close friends Luke Brooks, Tim Caudill, Gary "Duck" Wagner, Clyde West,
Debbie and Terry Mullins and Chris Russell; his dog Chester and many farm
animals.
He was predeceased by his father Bernard, infant brother Bernard James,
his grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and his best friend Glenn Tenney Jr.
Services will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home,
with Tammy Gillogly officiating. Visitation is Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
with Masonic Services at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery.
