Juanita L. McGuire, 71, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born on July 5, 1951 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Juanita was the daughter of the late Charles Edwin and Lucille Acre Kitchen. Juanita married Glen “Monk” McGuire, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2012. She was a graduate of Southwestern High School and a homemaker. Juanita enjoyed babysitting her great grandchildren and hanging out at Courtside Ministries in Gallipolis.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Jimmy) Cooper of Proctorville, Ohio; grandson raised in her home, Dakotah Fletcher (Hannah Estep); grandchildren, Jennifer Cooper and Isaiah Cooper; great grandchildren, Lillian Estep and Rosalyn Fletcher; brother, Charles L. (Sharon) Kitchen of Middleport, Ohio; nephew, Andrew Kitchen of Middleport; and several extended family members.
The funeral service for Juanita will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mercerville Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
