Robert Ray "Bob" Sigman passed away peacefully after an extended illness at Holzer Hospital on December 16, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Bob was born on July 19, 1949. He was the youngest of thirteen children born to Flavy and Pearl Sigman.
Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Bob was employed by GKN for 33 years until he retired.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Susie Sigman; sons, Chad Sigman, Brandon (Tammy) Sigman and daughter, Cassi (Adam) Loveday; grandsons, Gabe, Drew and Ben who were his constant companions, Jonathan Howell; several nieces and nephews; 3 great grandchildren; and honorary brother, Willis Taylor.
He is preceded in Death by his siblings, (Majorie, Roy, Erma, Katie, Mary, Janetta, Paul, Ruth, Elmer, Helen, Charles, and Agnes) his parents and a special nephew, Stevie Bobo who enjoyed playing matchbox cars constantly with his Uncle Bob. He is also preceded in death by a son, Shannon who is his Heavenly Angel.
He served God as a deacon for 45 years at the Old Kyger Freewill Baptist Church for his loving church family who held a special place in his heart.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Old Kyger Freewill Baptist Church at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Little officiating and Pastor Cody Lambert. Burial will follow at Meigs Memory Gardens where military funeral honors will be presented by the VFW Post 9926. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the church.
