Victoria J. Brumfield, 71, of Crown City, Ohio went home to be with the Lord; her daughter and husband were with her.

Born on November 1, 1952 in Franklin County, Ohio, Vickie was the daughter of the late James L. Franklin and Nora Coon Anderson. On September 8, 1972, Vickie married Terry Dean Brumfield, who survives her in Crown City. Vickie worked for Irvin’s Glass, Jividen’s Farm Equipment, and Buckeye Community Service. She was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School Class of 1971 and a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church. Vickie and Terry both were saved in February of 1975. Vickie loved her grandchildren and collecting chickens and roosters.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Terry Dean Brumfield of Crown City; daughter, Amy (Mark) Danner of Gallipolis, Ohio; son, Andrew (Suzanne) Brumfield of Show Low, Arizona; grandchildren, Bereket Danner, Garrett Brumfield, Quentin Brumfield, and Addison Brumfield; siblings, Sharon Kelly of Alabama, Peggy (Rodney) Roberts of Gallipolis, Jim (Trish) Franklin of Tennessee, Joe (Frances) Franklin of Georgia, and Terri (John) Coats of Georgia; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death her stepfather, Roy Anderson; brothers, Bobby Franklin and Johnny Franklin; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cornelia and Esco Brumfield.

The funeral service for Vickie will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Elizabeth Chapel Church with Pastor Randy Carnes and Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Friends and family may call prior to the service from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. There will be a family burial at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Providence Cemetery.
