Landon Eugene "Gene" McDaniel, 87, of Middleport, Ohio, passed away on April 26, 2024. He was born on July 13, 1936 in Mason, West Virginia son of the late John W. McDaniel and Laura Stewart McDaniel. Landon was a carpenter and a member of the Middleport Church of Christ. He loved to fish, hunt and camp.
He is survived by his: wife, Dorothy A. Greenlee McDaniel; son, Michael E. and Sandra McDaniel of Tennyson, Indiana; granddaughters, Jennifer McDaniel of Chandler, Indiana and Janette and Kris Snedecor stationed in Germany; great granddaughters, Evelyn and Adaline; special nieces, Shirley Lange and Tina Josefowicz of Monroe, Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Anne, Juanita "Sis" and Betty; and a brother, Gerald.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor David Hopkins officiating. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 10:00am to 11:45am at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport.
