God is the author of life; therefore, He is the one who writes your story. God orders our steps not according to our hearts, but according to his good plan for our lives. Ashley Ebersbach, 34 years old, Middleport, Ohio left this earth behind and went to rejoice in the house of the Lord for eternity. After an extended illness, Ashley peacefully passed at 11:11 am on June 30, 2024 with her family by her side at St. Mary's Medical Center. Ashley was born on August 7, 1989, she was the daughter of Rodney Ebersbach and Lisa Hayes.

Speaking of daughters, the Lord blessed her with three beautiful daughters who will carry on her memory- Aubrey Marie, Constance Dawn, and Ohana Lanae. These girls meant the world to Ashley.Anyone who knew Ashley could tell you that she loved her family and friends more than anything. If you asked Ashley about her family she would start by saying she was her parents favorite child. It was an inside joke; however, she loved when her Mother, Lisa, would tell her birth story of her being scored as a 10 on the apgar scale. Before she passed, Ashley reminded her mother that she was always her favorite child and she told her Father, Rodney, that she will always be his baby girl.

Ashley is survived by her two sisters, Amber Ebersbach and Autumn (Tony) Wright. Ashley and her sisters had an unbreakable bond. Ashley was the oldest sibling. If you remember "Rod's Girls" growing up, you might have confused them a time or two. However, PawPaw Eli made it easy, he referred to Ashley, Amber and Autumn as 1,2 and 3. PawPaw solved that problem!

Ashley was a loving Aunt. She loved her Nephew, Rodrick, her breakfast buddy. She loved her Nephew, Kash Money's stories and prayers. Kash would always brag that he knows his prayers work because they are from the heart. Baby Steven was waiting for her in heaven. She loved her Nephew, Romeo, aka "Mr.Big Boy." Her Niece, Mila was her snack buddy, prayer warrior and artist of several beautiful drawn pictures.

Ashley had many friends and to be honest, too many to list. A couple special friends where- Shirley Johnston, Keri Evans, Dave Ridgeway, and her valentine Jenny Davis. Ashley was employed at Pomeroy Mcdonald's for several years. Ashley was proud of being on Wsaz for making the last pizza sold at McDonald's. Also, you might remember her working with her mother in produce at Powell's Food Fair in Pomeroy, Ohio. One thing is for certain, wherever you met her she made an impression and you will never forget her.

Ashley enjoys the simple things in life. She was always trying to help uplift others. Ashley fought a battle that many don't even know about. During the darkest time of her life she was sending others gifts and uplifting others anyway she could. Happiness for Ashley was spending time with loved ones. Oh, and you better have food involved- Daylight Doughnuts, mashed potatoes with gravy, meatloaf, hamburger gravy, and some special dessert and finish it with a diet coke or an unsweet tea with 8 equal. Food was her love language. She had made multiple friends with all the local cake and cupcake ladies. If you needed advice as to where to get some good sweets, she would have known where to lead you.

Ashley was a Child of God! She gave her life to the Lord during one of her many hospital admissions at Holzer. She called Autumn and Shirley her soul sisters. Ashley fought for help medically for years; however, the battle was not hers but God's. Her stubborn soul tried to fight the sickness with her own strength. Once she surrendered it all to God, he moved in a mighty way. Ashley's love for Jesus during this battle was truly inspirational, Her family and friends might not ever understand why God needed her back with him so soon. Please let me remind you- Ashley is no longer in pain and suffering. Ashley WALKED into heaven holding hands with Jesus with a heart full of joy. She was so excited to see her beloved loved ones who were waiting for her- MawMaw Bonnie, PawPaw Eli, Uncle Rick, Uncle Dave, baby Steven, Aunt Marlene and Aunt Tammy. Please don't find yourself questioning God's plan, only by God's grace is it that we were blessed with 34 years with her. If you find yourself questioning God and asking "Why"- please pick up your bible and start talking to the Father. He is in control. He is good. He is the ULTIMATE physician and he healed her and clothed Ashley in a white robe. Don't miss your opportunity to meet Ashley again in heaven. Ashley would not want to sugar coat anything, everyone doesn't die and go to heaven. However, the good news is, God's gift of salvation is FREE. Everyone likes free stuff! We will end on this question, If you passed today, would you be able to confidently say you were going to live in paradise for eternity?

Jesus said to her, " I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26
