Patricia Kay Logan, 75, Middleport, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday June 22, 2025 following an extended illness. Kay, as she was known, was born on August 18, 1949 in Pomeroy, Ohio to William Ault and Lorena of Middleport, Ohio. Kay graduated from Middleport High School in 1967.
She was employed in the area for forty-one years as a licensed practical nurse. Throughout her life, Kay was a member of Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and the Methodist Church of Middleport, Ohio.
Kay was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She found joy in discovering new recipes and bringing them to life in the kitchen for her family. Kay was also an avid sports fan, supporting her husband during his years as a high school basketball coach and always rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Kay is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Ron Logan, sister Merri (Jim) Amsbary, brother Perk (Vicki) Ault, sons Darin (Lori) Logan and Kevin (Sharon) Logan, grandchildren Bradley Logan, Connor Logan, Michael Valentine and Sophia Wickersham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kay was preceded in death by her parents William and Lorena Ault, two brothers Gary Ault and Dennis Ault, and a sister Celeste Coates.
Special thanks to Ohio Health Home Reach Hospice, Purpose Care, members of the Hope Baptist Church and the many family members and friends who provided food, care, and support to the family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport with Chad Dodson officiating. Burial will follow at the Rocksprings Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held two hours prior to the funeral service. (11-1:00pm).
