In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Bush and Mary Rupe; her brother, Jesse Gardner Jr., all of Columbus, Ohio; and by her son, Roger Bush Jr. of Gallipolis, Ohio.
Survivors include her sisters, Francis Duffy and Sue Cox of Columbus, Ohio; and her children, Toni (Rob) Wright of Grand Island, Florida, Billie (Charlie) Fitchpatrick of Middleport, Ohio, Crystal (Chris) Waugh of Patriot, Ohio, and Herbert (Reedy Hobdy) Bush of Grand Island, Florida.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tara, Regina, Charles, Shelby, Michael, Christopher, Piccola, Bethany, and Courtny and several great grandchildren.
Nicknamed “G.G.” (Grouchy Granny) by her grandkids, Shirley never hesitated to speak her mind and keep everyone in line. Though the house will be quiet now, her presence will always live on in the stories her family tells, the habits they inherited, and the love she gave in her own unforgettable way.
